A serial entrepreneur who seeks solutions to the medical industry’s toughest challenges, Scott has developed and advanced numerous therapeutics, medical devices, and diagnostics aimed at addressing a range of medical conditions including cancer, diabetes, and autoimmune diseases. Over the last 20 years, he has founded and managed over 25 successful biotech companies including Quidel and Prometheus Labs and pioneered two professional skincare brands, Alastin Skincare and SkinMedica. Scott played a pivotal role in the inception of Ourself, identifying the need to advance ingredient delivery to create an entirely new category in medical grade skincare.

With over three decades of experience in the medical aesthetics and dermatology industry, Jim has a proven track record of performance, value creation and strategic leadership with market-leading brands across injectables, device and skincare. Prior to joining Ourself, Jim served as Chief Commercial Officer at Alastin Skincare where under his leadership, the company achieved unprecedented, market-leading growth in the professional-dispensed skincare market, propelling the organization to a top-tier player. Additionally, he previously held leadership positions at Allergan Aesthetics, Obagi, Merz Aesthetics and Hugel Aesthetics. At Ourself, Jim is progressing the organization forward, building upon Ourself's robust scientific foundation to expand the product portfolio and drive organizational performance.
